Burning Down 2020

Can’t say I was sorry to see this past year go anywhere except up in flames. We did a good job, too, at the annual bonfire. Huge pile of slash and stumps. Near record turnout of about 25. Lot’s of kids and grandkids. Only around 10° so nobody got frostbite or melted a nylon jacket or boots trying to get warm.

Speaking for myself, I was back at the cabin at 8:30, a sane hour for a person of a certain age. I think a few others held out a bit longer.

So, here is to a happy and safe 2021!
